Has the survey sampling been done properly without any bias?
Can you also provide the background of these 40,000 respondents who have participated the survey?
Kaa, please take a look at the main article, which we have now updated. Bénévole Anonmyne.
Thanks for the document. Some further questions:
1. There are 507 respondents but your blog mentioned 40,000. Why there is discrepancy in the claim?
2. Please point to me which part of the document states 88% of all the respondents disagree with Sultan. It said only 62% on slide 15
3. 52% of the respondents are homemakers, retiree, student & unemployed. Is this sampling composition reflecting the actual situation in Perak?
4. Just a comment - Half of the Malay (slide 21) accepts BN gov. More research needs to be done to understand why these Malay doesn't support Nizar
Kaa,

These are two different surveys. One is done by Malaysiakini and one by the Merdeka Centre.
2. Please point to me which part of the document states 88% of all the respondents disagree with Sultan. It said only 62% on slide 15
Again, these are two different surveys. The image is taken from Malaysiakini and the 88% refers to the Malaysiakini poll, whereas the pdf shows the results of the Merdeka Centre one.

The document states that 'Respondent selection based on random stratified sampling according to parliamentary district, ethnicity and gender'. I do not see anything about occupation so you may be right that this could have biased the sample, but I don't think this is very likely. For more information abotu methodology, you should contact the Merdeka Centre, who did the actual survey. www.merdeka.org. We have as much information as you do about this.
4. Just a comment - Half of the Malay (slide 21) accepts BN gov. More research needs to be done to understand why these Malay doesn't support Nizar.
This would be useful, but we are not in a position to conduct such a survey. Please keep us posted though if you know of other surveys on this issue.
I hope this is helpful.
All the best,
Bénévole Anonymne.
