Draconian Law of ISA

Candle-lights Vigil in Pantai Remis, Perak Led by Dato' Ngeh Koo Ham, Member of Parliament for Beruas.
Residents of Pantai Remis in the Beruas Parliamentary constituency of YB Dato' Ngeh Koo Ham came out in support of the abolishment of the outdated ISA.The arrest of YB Teresa Kok, Raja Petra and the journalist Ms Tan caused the outburst of anger from the public, even within the BN components parties.
Though Yb Teresa Kok was released after 7days unconditionally by 'conscience' or 'pressure' the public at large still want this ISA to be abolished to prevent abuses in the interest of certain groups only. DAP will continue to
campaign and pressure the BN government to abolish this draconian law which saw many leaders of DAP detained unlawfully and unjustly without given a chance to defend in the courts of law.
DAP's struggle and campaign will not stop until and unless the ISA is abolished.(21/09/08)
