Acceptance of Letter of Award for Construction, Completion and Commissioning of a 350,000RT District Cooling Plant in Manjung in the state of Perak for the King Dome Project (the "Project”) (the "Letter of Award") by LCI Global Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Linear Cooling Industries Sdn. Bhd.) - a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company




Contents : The Board of Directors of the Company wish to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, LCI Global Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Linear Cooling Industries Sdn. Bhd.)(“LCI Global”) has on December 29, 2009 accepted a project awarded by Global Investment Group Inc. of 24, Lesperance, Mahe, Republic of Seychelles via a letter dated December 24, 2009 for contruction and completion works for the design, construction, completion and commissioning of a 350,000RT District Cooling Plant in Manjung in the state of Perak for the King Dome Project (“The Project”) with a contract sum of RM1,662,934,500.00

The commencement of work is 24 months from the date of approval of the Development Plan by the Manjung District Council. The duration of the Project will be twenty-four (24) months from the date of commencement.

A formal contract shall be entered within 180 days from the date of the Letter of Award incorporating the terms set out therein and such other conditions by both both parties (the "Contract').

Further announcement will be made on the salient terms of the Contract once the Contract is entered into by both parties.

None of the Directors and/or substantial shareholders and/or persons connected to them has any interests, direct or indirect in the Project.

-- Looking at the size of the cooling plant, the King Dome project could be 10 times bigger than KLCC.
