Jumlah Rumah Kebajikan

Jawapan:
Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat(KPWKM) melalui Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) mengendali dan menyelenggara 59 buah Rumah Kebajikan/ Institusi Kebajikan untuk kumpulan sasar Jabatan iaitu kanak-kanak, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya. Di samping itu, terdapat juga Rumah-rumah Kebajikan yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Bukan Kerajaan dan swasta.
Tujuan utama Rumah-rumah Kebajikan ini adalah bagi menyediakan
perkhidmatan penjagaan kesihatan dan sebagainya kepada kumpulan
sasar yang memerlukan. Jumlah Rumah Kebajikan yang dikendalikan oleh Badan Bukan Kerajaan di bawah pemantauan JKM adalah sebanyak 168 buah.
Bagi memastikan perkhidmatan yang disediakan oleh Badan Bukan Kerajaan (pertubuhan Sukarela Kebajikan) sentiasa di tahap yang baik
dan memenuhi keperluan kumpulan sasar, Kerajaan menyalurkan bantuan kewangan dalam bentuk geran tahunan bagi membiayai kos penyelenggaraan Rumah-rumah tersebut. Pada tahun 2007, sebanyak RM18,126,682.00 diperuntukkan kepada 168 buah Rumah Kebajikan ini dan bilangan kumpulan sasar yang mendapat faedah darinya adalah seramai 11,641 orang.

ini digantikan kepada standard gauge

maka stokereta dan infrastruktur kereta

api sedia ada yang menggunakan standard

meter gauge tidak dapat digunakan.

Di samping itu, landasan meter gauge ini

adalah seragam dengan rangkaian kereta

api di negara-negara ASEAN seperti Thailand

Cambodia dan Vietnam.

Another DAP's Sunshine Project

Mr KrishnanA/L Subrayan appealed for help due to the fact that, his 3rd son Honasegeran ( 20) was paralysed waist down after an unfortunate motor's accident in 2005. He has another son Yuwaraja (17) also met with an accident 5 years ago where he fractured his leg. His youngest son, Puspanathan (9)
has heart on the right side instead of the normal left.
Honasegeran is now in The Independent Living & Training Centre for the special needs people in Kuala Lumpur. He needs the special wheelchair and the bed to prevent him from further injury. We hope the small part we play can help him in many ways and hope with good advance medical, training and care given he will enjoy the lives as we do one day.

Dato' Ngeh Koo Ham, Mr Paul Yong and Mr Jason Ling visited the world renowned Marine and Petroleum fabrication and ship building plant in Kg Acheh. On hand to welcome Dato' were Mr Chong Hin Loon, Dep Executive Chairman, En Jamalludin Obeng, Chief Operating Officer,
En Lokman Salleh, Managing Director Major(R) Ir Razali Mohd Rais,General Manager, Ms Jessica Lim, Corporate Relations Executive and several staffs..
Before the sites tour, the outlook and great visions of the corporation were presented. Among others were the mega expansion's plans and social rsponsibilites. In the pipelines are many jobs opportunities, economic and business out-look to be enjoyed by Perakians particularly people in the vicinity of Manjung.

YB Dato' Ngeh Koo Ham donated RM3000 To accident victim

Ling Boon Lin (17years old) who lost his father in an accident some years ago himself met with an accident on 4th August 2008 in Sitiawan. He was referred to Fatimah Hospital in Ipoh for an immediate brain operation because of bleeding in the brain.
He underwent a long operation by Dr S. Baskaran, Neuro surgeon to save his life.His skull plate was removed and needs another operation to put back in 1 month's time. The total cost for the medical fee was estimated to be up to RM70,000. The public responsed to the guardian for donations
Dato' Ngeh, Assemblyman for Sitiawan was one of the earliest to response.Dato' Ngeh represented DAP Sunshine project to present the cheque. On hand to receive the donation was the victim's grandmother.

Clean and Efficient Pakatan Rakyat Government of Perak Gets Free Bridge

Time saved in business is money gained.No coruptions means money saved too.
This is what the present Pakatan Rakyat Government of Perak is practising.
Due to the time saved and reduced cost in businesses, King Ong Development sdn Bhd sponsored the full cost(approximately RM100,000) of building the Kg Cina- Sri manjung bridge in appreciations of the Perak State Government for been CLEAN and EFFICIENT. The bridge when completed will shorten the distant by 5 KM for people who travel from KG Cina, Kg Koh and Pasir Panjang to Sri Manjung especially Manjung Hospital and factories. The said bridge was a dream comes true for the residents in the vicinity after more than 10 years. This bridge will be completed in 2 weeks.
This whole project was decided fast and with people's interest by Dato' Ngeh Koo Ham. The cooperations of the Jabtan Pengairan dan Saliran Perak and Majlis Perbandaran Manjung in this project need to be acknowledged. Their prompt response and actions has helped things get done much easier.
The Pakatan Rakyat Government will continue to make right and quick decisions for fast development of the state. With fast decisions, and no coruption, investors both local and foreign will be attracted to invest in Perak as provened in the increased in investments.
